Team building events with motocross combine speed, coordination and balance into a day on which you practise together, laugh and celebrate progress. Nobody needs any previous experience – just a little motivation and a love of trying something new.

Team Building Events and Ideas
Motocross is outdoor motorsport and demands adrenaline and speed just as much as coordination, a sense of balance, fitness and skill. It is precisely this mix that makes it such a strong team building idea: everyone faces the same task, gives each other advice and laughs a lot together. Because motocross is an anaerobic sport, regular breaks are part of it – during them the coaches explain what matters on the next lap.
A day like this strengthens team spirit and camaraderie, because you achieve something unfamiliar together, well looked after and with a real challenge. Someone might even find a new hobby. If you are looking for an occasion for a company's employees or clients, there are dedicated corporate events for that.

In many teams, some people are sitting on a motorcycle for the first time while others already have experience. Those who already ride get tips that build on their existing skills. Those who are new learn from scratch how to sit correctly on a motocross bike and how to control throttle and clutch – and usually soon lap the beginners' track on their own. Coaching is compulsory for first-time participants.
Honda motorcycles in all sizes are ready for this: entry-level F version models such as the CRF125F or CRF250F with electric starter and fuel injection to get started, and R version competition bikes for experienced riders. There are kids' bikes for children aged 4 and over, and smaller bikes for smaller women. That way everyone sits on a motorcycle that suits their size and ability.
Come to the team event in normal casual clothes; all that matters is long trousers and sturdy shoes. Everything else can be rented: protective gear from children's sizes to XXL, the right motorcycles and, on request, catering. Your first stop is the MX-Academy shop – there you check in and then collect your helmet, boots and the rest.
This is followed by a detailed theory session on the motorcycle and riding technique. The coaches then divide the riders into suitable groups, and what you have learned is put straight into practice on the track, interrupted by breaks in which the coaches show you extra tricks. A full day on site lasts 6–8 hours. After riding, the day ends with a relaxed get-together.

The MX-Academy is in Schlatt TG, around 45 min by car from Konstanz, around 1 hr 40 min from Freiburg, around 2 hrs from Stuttgart and around 2 hrs 20 min from Ulm, each calculated without traffic. Teams travelling this far are best off planning the full course day. If you are coming from Hamburg or Berlin, you can arrive the day before. Team building events are “price on request”; send your enquiry to info@mx-academy.ch.
Would you like to find out on your own beforehand what motocross feels like, or quietly secure a head start over the others? Then sign up in the motocross events calendar for a regular course day on a Wednesday or Saturday. On Wednesdays you get 3.5 hrs and on Saturdays 4 hrs on the track, including breaks and instruction.
Meeting point and sat-nav address: the MX-Academy Shop, Hauptstrasse 8, Schlatt TG.
At the shop reception you sign in for your course day.
You get a helmet, goggles, chest protector, knee guards, boots and gloves in your size – and a Honda CRF that suits you.
Before you start, the coaches calmly explain how riding off-road works.
On the track, riding and breaks alternate – with more tips and tricks from the coaches.
Bikes, gear, coaches and track – all organised by the MX-Academy
