Action experience · ride it or give it
A motocross experience stays with you: the first twist of the throttle, the first clean corner, the grin under the helmet. You ride yourself, with Honda bike, protective gear and coaches, or give the day as a gift voucher.

Motocross Experience
A motocross experience at the MX-Academy is not a race. Nobody times you, nobody hands out places; it is all about having fun on the bike. First you get an introduction to the bike and riding technique, then it's out onto the track. There you ride at your own pace, and a coach teaches you one technique after another. The more confidently you handle the bike, the more enjoyable every extra lap becomes.
Several tracks of varying difficulty ensure that beginners and advanced riders find the right terrain. If you can already ride, you use the day for free riding and pick up targeted tips. If you are new, you start with coaching, which is mandatory for all first-time participants. Almost incidentally, the experience becomes personal training. Motocross is an anaerobic sport, so regular breaks are a natural part of the day.

An experience makes a wonderful gift, whether as a birthday present, a Christmas present or just because. The MX-Academy motocross gift voucher is available exclusively online. After you order, it lands immediately as a PDF in your email inbox, and it can be redeemed for two years. So the recipient has plenty of time to choose a course day that suits them in the motocross events calendar.
If the choice of course should stay open, you take a value voucher for €22 (CHF 20), €54 (CHF 50) or €108 (CHF 100), non-binding. There are also vouchers for specific offers, for example for kids motocross, youth motocross, motocross for women or enduro training. Later, on the course day itself, the recipient only needs long trousers and sturdy shoes.
What you experience together, you enjoy telling twice as much. Friends, couples, families and groups can ride on the same course day, divided by ability into a total of 5 difficulty levels. Children from about 4, beginners and smaller women get smaller Honda bikes and the right protective gear. While one person is already working on jumps, another may just be riding their first corners, and in the evening everyone has their own story.
Companies, clubs and larger groups can also book the motocross experience, as a team building event or corporate event. For these: price on request. The easiest way is to describe your plans briefly by email to info@mx-academy.ch, i.e. how many people are coming and which date you have in mind, and the team will get back to you. For individuals and couples, on the other hand, the normal registration in the events calendar is enough.

From Stuttgart you spend around 2 hrs in the car to Schlatt TG, from Karlsruhe around 2 hrs 30 min, from Mannheim around 3 hrs 05 min and from Frankfurt around 3 hrs 45 min. For such a long journey a full course day is a better choice than a short hour. On Wednesdays you have 3.5 hrs of track time available, on Saturdays 4 hrs, breaks included, and that is exactly where you pick up new tips for the next lap.
With rental bike, protective gear and coaching, you pay €390 (CHF 360) for Wednesday, €444 (CHF 410) for Saturday and €471 (CHF 435) for Saturday with catering. All prices are non-binding and subject to change. You take care of registration and collecting your gear right at the start in the MX-Academy shop. The events calendar shows you free places for Wednesday and Saturday.
Meeting point and sat-nav address: the MX-Academy Shop, Hauptstrasse 8, Schlatt TG.
At the shop reception you sign in for your course day.
You get a helmet, goggles, chest protector, knee guards, boots and gloves in your size – and a Honda CRF that suits you.
Before you start, the coaches calmly explain how riding off-road works.
On the track, riding and breaks alternate – with more tips and tricks from the coaches.
3.5 hrs track time incl. breaks and instruction
4 hrs track time incl. breaks and instruction
A course day lasts 6–8 hours in total, including registration, gear and theory. The hours shown are the available track time including the breaks and instruction you need, not pure time in the saddle: motocross is anaerobic, breaks are part of it – and that is exactly when the coaches give you more tips and tricks. For teenagers and adults, each of these days is the recommended taster course, because it gives you a real impression of the sport and shows your progress. Kids, teenagers, women and adults all pay the same; the only difference is whether you rent or bring your own gear. With rental: a Honda bike in your size, protective gear, coaching and basic course costs. With your own gear: coaching, track hire and basic course – provided you can already ride on your own, otherwise extra coaching for €54 (CHF 50) is added.
Euro = guide price based on the ECB reference rate of 23.10.2026 (€1 = 0.9227 CHF), updated daily; courses are priced in CHF. All prices are non-binding and subject to change.
