Motocross club · around 350 members
The MX-Academy motocross club is open to beginners, advanced and ambitious riders – children as well as women and men. You join once and remain a member for life; there is no annual fee.

The MX-Academy club is structured like a cooperative. Instead of an annual fee, you pay a one-off €585 (CHF 540), non-binding, and remain a member for life. According to the MX-Academy, it pays off from just four training sessions. When you join, you receive an MX-Academy jacket, hoodie and T-shirt, plus access to all club training sessions.

Looking for a motocross club for kids? In the MX-Academy club, children ride in their own group and on their own track. Only once they have the necessary skills do they move up to a more demanding one. Every child rides at their own pace – challenged, but never overwhelmed. Even complete beginners are in the right place in this group.
The way into the club is through a public training session: anyone who has taken part once can join. For children, a course day of Kids motocross is ideal, where they learn the basics with a coach, rental bike and protective gear. That way, you can see together whether the enthusiasm lasts before your child becomes a member.

In the club, quality counts more than quantity. If you practise in the right riding position, you internalise the movements and get better. If, on the other hand, you ride laps in the wrong posture, you reinforce your mistakes – then training even works against you. That is why the coaches pay close attention to position and movement. Advanced riding techniques and techniques from racing, such as starts, reading the track and overtaking, are also practised.
Among the around 350 members there are many women, and the atmosphere is excellent: everyone helps everyone, and you move forward together, whatever your level. The focus is on the rider and riding technique, not the brand. If you don't have your own bike, you rent one: no refuelling, no servicing, no transport to the track, no storage – and a new bike every year.

When looking for an MX club near you, the journey matters. If you live in Singen, you can be in Schlatt TG in around 30 minutes by car. From Konstanz, allow around 45 minutes, from Villingen-Schwenningen or Rottweil around 1 hr, from Stuttgart around 2 hrs and from Ulm around 2 hrs 20 min. For regular club training, this is particularly manageable from the area around Singen, Konstanz and Tuttlingen.
Becoming a member is easy and done on site: sign up for the next training session and bring the membership fee with you. Ideally, get to know the MX-Academy beforehand on a public course day, on Wednesday or Saturday. The dates are in the Motocross events calendar. You can clarify any questions by email: info@mx-academy.ch.
