Corporate event ideas with motocross: everyone starts at the same level

A corporate event stays in people's memories when everyone achieves something themselves and surpasses themselves in the process. On a motocross bike, brains, coordination and stamina count at least as much as strength. Because most participants are sitting on an off-road motorcycle for the first time, the boss, the apprentice and the sales team all start at the same level – and experience their first progress together.

It doesn't matter whether someone has ridden before or has never sat on a motorcycle. The professional coaches divide the group by ability and stay with beginners until they can control the motorcycle themselves. Newcomers are required to take the coaching. Because the tracks are on private grounds, nobody asks for a driving licence.

Plan a company event for employees or clients

A company event at the MX-Academy is designed for 5 to 30 people. For larger groups several coaches are deployed, and even bigger events are possible on request. You decide whether you ride as a private group or join an open event, where the group is filled up with other participants. The offer works as a reward for the team, as a management outing or as a special client event.

What awaits you at the corporate event

Equipment is taken care of: you can rent Honda bikes from the small beginner bike with automatic clutch up to the CRF250, as well as the complete protective gear – boots, knee guards, chest protector, gloves, goggles and helmet – in sizes up to XXL. All you need to pack is long trousers, sturdy shoes and ideally a change of clothes. You organise the journey there and back yourselves; the MX-Academy team takes care of the rest.

First you practise pulling away, changing gear, braking and steering, then corners, riding position and where to look. If you book a whole day, you also practise rollers and your first jumps. On site, an event day like this lasts 6–8 hours including check-in, theory and putting on the gear; riding sessions alternate with breaks in which the coaches give tips.

As a souvenir, you can for example organise a motocross helmet with your own company logo, complemented by goggles or a shirt. If you would like to give employees or clients a present, choose a motocross gift voucher: it is only ordered online, the PDF arrives in your inbox straight away and can be redeemed for two years. Someone might even discover a new hobby at the corporate event and later carry on with motocross training.

Getting to your corporate event from Germany and Austria

Your meeting point: the MX-Academy shop, Hauptstrasse 8, 8252 Schlatt TG; the track is around 0.9 km away. By car, without traffic, you need around 30 min from Singen, around 45 min from Konstanz, around 1 hr from Villingen-Schwenningen, around 2 hrs from Stuttgart and around 3 hrs 20 min from Munich; from Bregenz it is around 1 hr 35 min. Bus 847 takes you to the “Schlatt TG, Mettschlatt” stop, only around 70 m from the shop.

The longer the journey, the more a full event day makes sense instead of a short programme. Groups from Cologne (around 5 hrs 20 min) or even further away can arrive the day before. Corporate events are “price on request”; it is best to clarify group size, date and schedule directly with the team via info@mx-academy.ch.

How big can the group be for a corporate event?

5 to 30 people is ideal; additional coaches are available for more participants. Even larger events can be requested.

How much does a corporate event at the MX-Academy cost?

Corporate events are “price on request”. The team discusses the details of group, date and programme personally; send enquiries to info@mx-academy.ch.

Do employees need to be able to ride a motorcycle for the company event?

No. No driving licence is required on the private training grounds, and no previous experience is needed either; the coaches stay with newcomers until they can control the motorcycle themselves.

How long is the journey to the corporate event from Stuttgart or Munich?

By car, around 2 hrs from Stuttgart and around 3 hrs 20 min from Munich, measured without traffic. From Singen it is around 30 min.

Can colleagues just watch at the corporate event?

Yes, spectators such as family members, colleagues or the undecided are welcome. On request, a catering package can be booked for them.

Can a corporate event be given as a gift?

Yes, a motocross gift voucher makes a good present for employees or a thank-you to clients. It is only available online, arrives immediately as a PDF and can be redeemed for two years.
