For the whole workforce · from age 4
A company outing that doesn't just follow the usual programme again: at the MX-Academy the whole workforce rides motocross – guided step by step, in suitable groups and without a driving licence.

Company Outing Ideas
Anyone planning an outing for the whole company is usually looking for something that doesn't run the way it does every year. A day on a dirt bike is out of the ordinary. For companies, the MX-Academy puts together a motocross and enduro event where the workforce does something together that is fun, awakens team spirit and demands concentration.
Away from the office and the workshop, colleagues get to know each other from a new side, and the sense of community grows. You can hold the outing as a private event or join a public event as a group. The motivation to try something new is the only real requirement.

Women, men and children from age 4 can ride – participants at the MX-Academy are between 4 and 74 years old. The Honda off-road models come in many sizes, including for smaller and petite female riders. With a semi-automatic bike, getting started is especially easy, so even newcomers are soon rolling around the track unaccompanied.
The group is divided by ability and looked after individually. Coaching is compulsory for first-time participants, while advanced riders get targeted tips from the team of coaches to deepen their existing technique. Anyone who owns their own bike or their own motocross or enduro protective gear simply brings it along; everyone else rents a bike and gear in the right size.

Neither strength nor courage makes you faster on a motorcycle – only better riding technique does. That is why the MX-Academy builds up skills from the ground up: only once the basics are in place are more demanding exercises added. That way everyone experiences success, whether they are riding for the first time or already have experience.
This step-by-step approach pays off especially in mixed groups: newcomers quickly feel comfortable on the bike, while experienced riders polish individual techniques. Because motocross is an anaerobic sport, short riding phases alternate with breaks; during the breaks the coaches explain what matters next.
By car you reach Schlatt TG in around 55 min from Tuttlingen, around 1 hr from Rottweil, around 1 hr 15 min from Friedrichshafen, around 2 hrs 30 min from Karlsruhe, around 3 hrs 05 min from Mannheim and around 3 hrs 45 min from Frankfurt – each without traffic. For distances like these, the full day is the obvious choice; on site it lasts 6–8 hours including registration, theory and gear. Staff from Düsseldorf or Hamburg can arrive the day before.
You will find public dates in the motocross events calendar, and you can request your own date via info@mx-academy.ch; here too it is price on request. A catering package with food and drinks throughout the day can be added, and family members or friends are welcome to come along as spectators. As a souvenir of the outing, a helmet or a motocross T-shirt can be bought after the event. Anyone who wants to ride regularly afterwards can continue with motocross training.
