The MX-Academy rides on fixed course days: on Wednesday with 3.5 hours and on Saturday with 4 hours of track time, each including breaks and instruction. Every date is listed as a motocross and enduro course day on which all groups are available. Kids motocross, teenagers, women, men and advanced riders ride separately, and four tracks are ready on the grounds, from the kids' track to the track for pros.

The taster hour with 1 hr of track time, intended mainly for children aged 4 to 6, is only available every other Wednesday. The MX-Academy keeps adding new dates to the motocross events calendar, so it is worth checking regularly. If a course day is already fully booked, this is shown right next to the date, and you simply choose another one.

The events calendar shows you whether a course is running today and whether places are still available. Plan your registration in good time, because you first need a user account. You won't find dates for motocross races here: official races in Switzerland are run by the FMS and SAM federations.

To be honest, Schlatt TG is only really nearby for part of southern Germany. Measured without traffic, you need around 30 min (22 km) from Singen, around 1 hr 15 min (86 km) from Friedrichshafen, around 2 hrs (172 km) from Stuttgart and, from Austria, around 1 hr 35 min (114 km) from Bregenz. For the weekend, Saturday with 4 hrs of track time is ideal; if you come from further away, arrive the day before.

Registering in the motocross events calendar: how it works

Before your first booking, you create a login in the calendar and activate your account via the confirmation email sent to you afterwards. Without this step, registration is not possible. For groups, every rider needs a separate ticket with complete details. With a rental bike, the ticket depends on your height, so that the right bike is ready for you:

On the course day itself, you check in at the MX-Academy Shop, Hauptstrasse 8, Schlatt TG; the start time is shown with each date. From there, after registration and getting your gear, you head to the track. If you would like something from the MX-Academy motocross shop, the team can bring it to you on the course day.

Motocross events for groups and dates of your choice

If none of the dates in the calendar suits you, email your preferred date to the MX-Academy at info@mx-academy.ch. Individual training sessions, a corporate event or a team building event can also be organised; except for private training, this requires at least a small group. For corporate and team building events: price on request. That way, a shared course day becomes your own motocross event for colleagues or friends.

There are no fixed calendar dates for motocross in Dubai. The MX-Academy is there all year round, and dates can be arranged individually on request. Simply send an email with your planned stay. A course day lasts 6–8 hours in total, including registration, gear and theory. The hours shown are the available track time including the breaks and instruction you need, not pure time in the saddle: motocross is anaerobic, breaks are part of it – and that is exactly when the coaches give you more tips and tricks. For teenagers and adults, each of these days is the recommended taster course, because it gives you a real impression of the sport and shows your progress. Kids, teenagers, women and adults all pay the same; the only difference is whether you rent or bring your own gear. With rental: a Honda bike in your size, protective gear, coaching and basic course costs. With your own gear: coaching, track hire and basic course – provided you can already ride on your own, otherwise extra coaching for €54 (CHF 50) is added.
